I graduated in May 2012 from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. I was born and raised in New York City and my passion for nutrition developed at a young age. After witnessing food insecurity issues within my community, I became interested in using the power of nutrition to improve the overall quality of life.
I became active in the nutrition community during high school and continued to explore different opportunities within the field of dietetics. Within the past years, I have interned for the New York City Department for the Aging, volunteered at Lenox Hill Hospital, a soup kitchen, a private practice and had the opportunity to research with one of the professors at Syracuse University. Outside of Nutrition, I enjoy photography, shopping, traveling, practicing yoga and going for long walks to explore New York City!
I am a recent graduate of the University of Maryland College Park Dietetic Internship and currently working as a Registered Dietitian in New York City.
